When I was young, and life seemed so impossible, I wanted to get away. Now that my life is going well, and I'm content, I wonder why I'm still so drawn to fantasy. It's still an escape of sorts, but just an escape from every day life as a form of recreation. Even when life is great, you still need to get away from the normalcy of it all.
But there's also just something magical about it. I love reading about and living in other people's worlds. Why do you love fantasy?
