Visit My Patreon & Say Hello | Joshua Robertson

Last month, I started my author patreon. I am happy to announce that after a couple of weeks we have already reached the halfway mark on the first milestone. But we have a long way to go! Let me give a bit of an introduction to my patreon and why I kickstarted it.

I write for a living. This year, I plan to attend almost 40 conventions to speak on panels, engage with fans, and sell books. I jumped into the convention scene last year, and I honestly love it! Traveling around and meeting fans rocks, but the cost is pretty great. Even small cons cost around $300, not including hotel stay or fuel.

This Patreon page is to support my attendance at conventions, help pay for quality book covers, fan art, and editing services. This year I will be going to Steel City Con, Cincinnati Comic Con, Heroes Con, SuperCon, Marble City, and so forth. I know several readers have asked for me to make it as far as Texas, New York, or even Utah. Your patron dollars go directly into paying for the hotel, gas, and food to get me to these different places. I want to come to your town!

So Look Around and see if you like my work. You can get access to exclusive Patron-only content for as little as $2 each month, and starting at the $5 level you'll really get some cool rewards.

Whether you fund me or not, thank you for taking the time to read through my ramblings!

Joshua Robertson is an award-winning author in epic, dark fantasy. You may recognize him as the dude whose dragons were said to destroy George R.R. Martin's and Christopher Paolini's dragons in a very biased Twitter poll. His first novel, Melkorka, was released in 2015, and he has been writing fantasy fiction like clockwork ever since. Known most for his Thrice Nine Legends Saga, Robertson enjoys an ever-expanding and extremely loyal following of readers. He currently lives in North Carolina with his better half and his horde of goblins. Learn more at http://www.robertsonwrites.com or connect with him on Twitter or Instagram @RobertsonWrites.
