The final episodes of Shadow Stalker are coming along. Hopefully, I’ll be publishing them starting in July or August. For now, here’s a little sneak peek:
“Who are you?” she asked softly as she tentatively slipped the shirt over her head.
“My name is Auren. What’s yours?”
“Sirah.”
“When was the last time you had something to eat, Sirah?”
She shrugged, staring at the floor.
I called out to the guard to have food brought up. Sirah was surprised when he did what he was told without question.
“Are you the delohi-saqu?”
I pressed my lips together, considering how best to answer her question. It didn’t take long to decide honesty would be best. “Yes.”
She gasped and took a step back.
