The last two weeks have been a perfect example of how my new writing process has made writing so much easier for me. I’ve had major brain fog issues, and yet, I’ve been able to keep writing. It takes longer than normal and I don’t always complete what I’ve set out to do, but at least I’m accomplishing more than I did last year when this happened.
I finished the first drafts for Episodes 21 through 24 of Shadow Stalker and now I’m working on the editing. That will take about a couple of months, but if everything keeps going as planned, I should be ready to release Episode 21 by August.
I’ve started planning the middle-grade series too. This one is about Auren and Makari’s daughter and her adventures with her friends. My daughter requested a story with the shadow stalkers for kids her age, and this was the result. It will likely be a while before I release these books though because my daughter is doing the artwork for them.
Here’s everything I’ll be working on this week:
- Writing the 12 Short Stories Challenge June story
- Finishing up Step 7 of the planning process for A God’s Deception
- Finish writing the blog series for My Writing Process
- Finish Step 9, do Step 10 and start Step 11 of the planning process for Emergence
- Write and edit a flash fiction story
- Do rewrites for Shadow Stalker Episode 21 Chapters 1 – 5
- Do Step 10 and start Step 11 of the planning process for the new short story
- Do Step 6 and start Step 7 of the planning process for the middle-grade series
Hopefully, my brain fog will lift and I’ll get through all of it!
