I was so tired today, I could barely keep my eyes open. So I fell asleep on the sofa (several times) while trying to write. Finally, I caved and just took a nap. I still managed to get quite a bit done though.
I wrote about 3k words last week and got a lot of story planning done. I even came up with a new idea for a possible future story. I’m just tossing it around in my head at the moment, but it seems like it would make a fun series to write. My daughter sorta helped with that too. We were watching YouTube videos and someone was doing transformations in Minecraft of some of the game generated buildings. He turned plain looking buildings into something beautiful. One of them was in the Nether and it gave me some great ideas.
But it’ll be a while before I can get to that story. I have tons of other stuff to work on in the meantime.
Here are this week’s writing goals:
- Finish writing the 12 Short Stories June story
- Do steps 8, 9 and 10 in the planning process for A God’s Deception (incidentally Steps 8, 9, and 10 are the ones I posted about yesterday)
- Finish writing the blog series on my writing process
- Complete Steps 9 & 10, and start Step 11 in the planning process for Emergence Season 1
- Finish my new flash fiction story
- Finish Step 17 of the editing process for Episode 21 and start it for Episode 22 of Shadow Stalker
- Do Step 12 of the planning process for the new short story
- Start Step 7 of the planning process for the middle-grade series
Wish me luck and happy reading!
